Education
- 2025–2026: Master’s degree in Human Reproduction from the Complutense University of Madrid
- 2023–2025: Master’s degree in Senology from the University of Barcelona
- 2013–2014: Erasmus scholarship at the Faculty of Medicine of the Technische Universität München, completing the practical component at the Klinikum Rechts der Isar.
- 2009–2015: Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from the University of Barcelona.

Dr Miranda Sanz holds a degree in Medicine and a specialisation in Assisted Human Reproduction from the Complutense University of Madrid; she is a specialist in Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Assisted Reproduction. She holds a Master’s degree in Senology from the University of Barcelona.

Dr Miranda Sanz studied at the Faculty of Medicine of the Technische Universität München and the University of Barcelona; now based in Madrid, she is fluent in German, Spanish, English and Catalan.
Especialista en fertilidad
Specialist in Assisted Reproductive Techniques, a gynaecologist with expertise in complex cases of infertility, In Vitro Fertilisation – IVF, Egg donation, Endometrial receptivity, Ovarian rejuvenation, and Implantation failure.
My interest in reproductive medicine arose whilst working with patients diagnosed with breast cancer and endometriosis who needed to preserve their fertility before starting certain treatments. Supporting them at such a crucial time made me realise the impact that fertility has on the quality of life and family plans of many women.
Although these patients received excellent medical care for their conditions, I observed that there was a great need for guidance and support in all matters relating to fertility preservation and assisted reproduction options. It was then that I decided to specialise in Reproductive Medicine.
During my training and professional experience in Germany, I also discovered the significant legislative differences regarding assisted reproduction that exist between the two countries. Treatments such as egg donation, which are extensively regulated and widely available in Spain, are not permitted in Germany. This reinforced my desire to return to Spain to specialise in assisted reproduction and to be able to offer patients broader access to the available treatment options.
Today, at Vida Fertility, I am able to combine my international experience with personalised care for Spanish and international patients, as I can communicate fluently in German, English, Spanish and Catalan, helping them to find the best solution for their individual circumstances and supporting them at every stage of their journey to motherhood.
